Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports as young as 14. In addition to BJJ training She also took classes in boxing, wrestling, and kickboxing. In the age of 18, she made her debut as an amateur at WCFC. Ladd continued to build on her win during Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won 3 consecutive bouts. She knocked out all her opponents in the first round. She then went back to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen was first beaten by Silvia Babyghian before going on to fight Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 in which she took on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen by unanimous decision. This put a stain on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd defeated Roma Pawelek on Tuff n' Uff and improved her record for amateurs to 8-1. Aspen started her professional career in 2015after signing to Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta Fc 11 she dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the bout in the the first round via TKO. Invicta 16, she was able to go into the Bantamweight division after winning her fight with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen employed the strong skills she had learned in wrestling to take on McGill. She won her fight via an KO (3rd round) (elbows as well as punches). Aspen was then up against Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) at an "catchweight"(138.1lb) as Ladd failed to make weight. Aspen, however, dominated Hoy by using TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her final fight for the company. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks beaten by a unanimous verdict. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina by grounding and pounding her before prevailing by TKO in the second round. In her next fight, she defeated Tonya Evinger more convincingly. Ladd ended Evinger's bout after the opening round. Also, she was awarded the reward for her performance on the night. Her first major fight in her debut fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. The victory of Ladd was a unanimous decision and the Fight of the Night award was awarded to the two fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie only needed 16 seconds to stop Ladd and her winning streak. She bounced back and finished Yana Kunitskaya in the third round in UFC in ESPN 7. She faced Norma Dumont as a substitute during her final fight against the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. The decision was made unanimously against her.
